Edwin van der sar
Not many goalkeepers have managed to keep the same level of
consistency as he has at the highest level of the game. His confidence has been evient
in the fact that he has firmly grasped and solved Manchester
United's goalkeeping problems.
Emmanuel Eboue He's quick, he's tough, he's strong....but he still needs experience. He's also a very difficult
opponent because he keeps bombing forward, which makes you work extra hard.
Roberto Carlos one of the most balanced footballers ever. his movements forwards and backwards on the left side of the park
are unbelievable , he does both uncommonly well.
Alessandro Nesta he is so good on the ball for a defender and can start an attack from 60 yards out with the ball at his feet, that makes him a constant threat.
John Terry an unbelievable reader of the game, he is really sharp when moving the ball out from
the back and he wins a lot of headers and physical battles.
Michael Ballack he works really hard for his team mates, and will allow Ronaldinho to be creative, and yet remain dangerous on the ball in his own
right. I'd really love to see a team that can mark out these two. Ballack can single handedly win a match.
His immense experience makes him my captain.
Ronaldinho his vision, his character and charisma leave his opponents in complete awe. For me ronaldinho
is one of the best players that I have ever seen. His touch is amazing he can do things with the ball that you've never seen before
and makes it look so easy. I have never seen a player who creates obvious chances for his teammates than he does.
Lionel Messi if you have never heard of him before then you are watching too much local soccer. A brilliant
architect of the ball and arguably gifted with pace. With someone like him running at & dribbling defenders it would
really need brilliant defending to stop him.
Wayne Rooney He has a passion to win, and the ability to leave players for dead and whip the ball into the back of the net.
He has played against
the best and is still yet to achieve more....
Thiery Henry only the silliest coach would opt to leave out such a player. He's a master conducter of his team's attack
and has incredible strength when powering towards goal. He is lethal in front of goal and he knows he is a good player , that
confidence has helped him to get to the level he has reached.
Samuel Eto'o again he is a complete player and will grab those crucial goals when you least expect them.
He's a typical gunman who has proved his worth, and he is a consistent performer and that's what
you need from a reliable striker. At least you are guarrentied that "come rain or thunder" Eto'o
will score.
coach
Jose Mourinho a brilliant coach. Provide Jose with the best players and he will deliver the best results besides
with so many rich great players you obviously need a hard desciplinarian to remind them that
they are not bigger than the game. Also with Jose you have a 2 in 1, a great tactician and a good
public relations officer to entertain the press with a loud mouth.
